What if I'm not satisfied?

Custom itineraries and travel planning services are 100% satisfaction guaranteed.  If you aren't happy just let me know and I'll be happy to revisit your trip and work with you until you are satisfied.  If ultimately, that can't be reached, I'm happy to offer you a full refund.  Once your trip begins however, sales are final.


How is my itinerary delivered?

Your travel itinerary will be sent to you electronically through a website called Tripit.  Tripit is awesome!  It is the best travel planning site I've come across.  It is super easy to create, share and edit your travel plans.  My favorite part about Tripit is their mobile app.  It ensures you are never far from your plans while you're out on vacation.  Check out the Tripit website here.


Do I have to create a Tripit account?

Nope!  I'll share the link to your itinerary and you'll still be able to see everything on your trip.  I do recommend however signing up for a free account as it opens up all of the features and functions of the software such as being able to edit and add plans, track which places you've visited and a budget calculator. Signing up for an account is very easy and takes just a minute or two.  If you are having trouble creating an account let me know and I'll be happy to walk you through the steps or create an account for you. 


What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, Venmo and PayPal are all accepted.


How do you know what to put on my itinerary?

I don't!  Well, initially I don't but after a quick email or phone call asking you some basic questions I'll get a feel for what you like and dislike and what your ideal trip looks like.  This helps me start creating the itinerary and then once I get some rough ideas I'll check in with you again to make sure I'm on the right track.  The idea of course, is to make an itinerary tailored to your specific personality and interests so I will be in constant contact with you to make sure this happens.  


What factors influence your trip planning costs? 

 

Creating a trip from scratch can be a difficult and time consuming process.  Factors that can influence how much your trip planning will cost may include but are not limited to: number of travelers, length of trip, number of cities visited, number of flights and hotels and trip location.  Trips the fall in the "Basic" category generally already have a destination but are lacking flights and accommodations.  Trips that fall into the "Difficult" category don't necessarily have a destination or have multiple destinations as well as lacking flights and accommodations for said destination.  Trips that fall into the "Complex" category are generally trips that visit multiple cities, require multiple connections and accommodations and are an extended length of time.  These are guidelines only.  Please contact me to get a quote for your specific trip.
